The Edwards A73001803 is an original manufacturer service kit specifically designed for the XDS35i Dry Scroll Vacuum Pump. The gas ballast valve is a critical component that enables the pump to handle condensable vapors and high-humidity applications without internal contamination.

Over time, internal O-rings degrade, the valve core wears, or the intake filter becomes clogged. These issues lead to decreased pumping speed, failure to reach ultimate vacuum, and visible emulsification inside the pump housing.
