Edwards A50523000 Adjustable Gas Ballast Oil Return Kit, OEM specification. Designed for Edwards RV3/RV5/RV8/RV12 rotary vane pumps and EMF 10/20 oil mist filters, enabling oil return from the filter to the pump to reduce oil consumption and extend maintenance intervals.

• Pump Oil Conservation: Returns oil trapped in the oil mist filter back to the pump through the gas ballast port, reducing oil loss, minimizing the need for frequent oil level checks, and extending pump oil service life.
• Critical Usage Restrictions (Factory Requirement):
  1. Not compatible with purge gas introduction: If purge gas needs to be introduced into the pump, a dedicated gas ballast adaptor must be installed instead, and oil return will not be possible.
  2. Application limitation: Only suitable for processes where pumped gases do not contaminate the pump oil.
  3. Installation requirement: Replaces the standard gas ballast control knob on the RV series pump.
