Reliable High Vacuum Generation in a Compact Package

This turbomolecular pump is engineered for applications that demand clean, reliable and maintenance-friendly high vacuum. With a pumping speed of 67 l/s for nitrogen, a compression ratio above 1 x 10¹¹ and an ultimate pressure below 1 x 10⁻⁷ hPa, the turbo pump delivers laboratory-grade vacuum performance while weighing only about 2.9 kg, making it one of the lightest solutions in its class.

Advanced Bearing and Rotor Technology

The pump adopts a hybrid bearing concept, combining a wear-free permanent magnetic bearing on the high-vacuum side with a lubricated ball bearing on the low-vacuum side. This design minimises vibration and noise while extending service life, and the precision-balanced rotor ensures smooth, stable rotation at speeds up to 90,000 rpm. The result is an exceptionally quiet and stable high-vacuum pump that can operate continuously for years with minimal attention.

Flexible Installation and Simple Integration

Unlike conventional vacuum systems, this turbomolecular pump can be mounted in any orientation, allowing it to fit into space-constrained equipment such as mass spectrometers, electron microscopes and compact process tools. The electronic drive unit is integrated into the pump, simplifying system design, while a maximum power consumption of only 110 W makes the turbo pump suitable even for portable and battery-powered instruments. RS-485 and remote interfaces support monitoring and control from the host system.

Application Range

Typical applications include mass spectrometry and gas analysis, helium leak detection, electron microscopy, surface analysis and UHV research systems, thin film coating, and vacuum furnaces. The high vacuum pump is equally at home in laboratory R&D and in industrial process environments where stable, dependable vacuum is essential.

Low Cost of Ownership

With a maintenance interval of approximately four years and easy-to-replace service kits, this turbo pump keeps both downtime and operating cost low. Air cooling and IP54 protection allow clean installation in standard equipment cabinets, and the pump runs quietly and coolly even during continuous operation.

Power Supply

The pump is driven by 24 V DC through its integrated electronic drive unit, and the corresponding controller accepts AC mains from 115 to 230 V, 50/60 Hz, covering power systems in most countries.
